Originally private TV company TV Gimi Corp., today TV GIMI Inc. was founded in 1996 as daughter company Gimi Ltd. It was a service company and provided production and broadcasting of own programmes but also of programs produced in co-production.
The TV GIMI opened an important cooperation in 1999 with Czech Television, when it started providing technical service for a regional news redaction in Ceske Budejovice. Important milestone in this cooperation was providing the live broadcasting from putting the first block of the nuclear power plant Temelin into operation. Since that time the TV GIMI is providing picture material also to other important TV stations not only in Czech Republic, but also all over the Europe (ORF, BBC, ARD, ZDF, ST1).
The news redaction of TV GIMI supplies since its foundation the media coverage to news programs of CT1, CT4 Sport, TV Prima, TV Nova, Public TV and Z1. In our regional news redaction started in the past their professional carrier in the field of media coverage for example Mr. Ales Hazuka, Mrs. Iveta Touslova (today CT), Mrs. Andrea Nemcova, Mrs. Martina Kuzdasova, Mrs. Barbora Divisova (today TV Nova) and others.
Today the company TV GIMI Inc. is the first regional digital television. It operates multiplex Regional network 1, where is except the distribution of the programmes Public TV, Ocko and Prima also broadcasted its round-the-clock program.
It is producing programmes and regional reporting, provides the fastest and the best television information service in the South of Czech Republic. Every day the reporters are moving out to the most interesting what is happening around us
Another areas of the company activity are the production of promotion spots, presentation DVDs, instructional movies and documentary, video presentations for web pages, etc. Here the customer has at disposal experienced staff in the commercial department, which will provide him with expert consultancy in the field of media presentation, they will recommend and realize the best variant of the television commercials.
Integral part is also the manufacture of picture material, documenting the life in the region, which serves also for support of the region development. In the framework of its activities TV GIMI is supporting many various projects, in the form of media partnership.
